Why It Works

Ingredients
- 1 ripe pear, peeled and chopped
- 2 tablespoons rolled oats
- 1/2 cup water, breast milk, or formula as appropriate
- A tiny pinch of cinnamon, optional and only if already introduced
Method
- Simmer the pear and oats with water until the pear is soft and the oats are fully cooked.
- Blend until smooth, adding more liquid to loosen the texture.
- Cool completely before serving. Store extra portions in the refrigerator for up to two days.
